I thought to share with you my recent project. I’ve been working on this forever now and its finally done. A new training DVD for Premiere Pro. Hold your horses! its in Hebrew ![]()
This is by far the most comprehensive training I’ve ever recorded – 14(!) hours of EVERYTHING you need to know about Adobe’s main editor.
Since I’ve been working with Premiere Pro on a daily basis, I’ve grown to love and appreciate its approach to video and sound. I know that you may not agree with me, but for me it is still the #1 NLE of choice.
This promo below was made using my other favorite tool – After Effects plus couple of plugins such as Boris Continuum Complete, Trapcode Form and Zaxwerks Serpentine. I’m very proud of this product, having worked on it for such a long time, and the promo came out pretty nice as well, if I may say so myself. So although its not in English, I thought it’s still worth sharing. The background movie, BTW, is a free download courtesy of my dear buddy Carl Larsen – check it out here.
.
So in case you’re planning to re-visit your Hebrew Sunday school
and want to impress your teacher, here’s a quick look at the Promo for this product:

In fact… I would probably get it even if there was an English transcript that came with it… You are such a great teacher Eran!

Hi,
I would certainly purchase this as well if it where in English. I would love to learn how you import video made in AE into Pr. I have trouble when exporting the final Pr video with Media Encoder as the AE graphics and the NTSC footage do not export well together due to anti-aliasing problems.
The package looks great!

If it were in English I would jump all over it.. I use Premiere Pro and finding anything with up to date information is a pain…

Looks great Eran! If this were in English, I would definitely buy it, as I am an avid Premiere Pro user as well.
Keep it up Mr. Stern.

A question for you guys: If a similar product will be available in English, Would you consider buying it? I’m referring to Advanced Techniques in Premiere Pro

Is there any chance to understand something – even if I do not know the language? There are certainly some good tip would be nice to add to my repertoire. Looks nice!

Thanks Warti, Form was used for the particles dots inside the main Pr cube. I know they got lost in this heavy Vimeo compression – but they are very obvious in the HiRes version. The background was done using Cinema 4D by Carl Larsen.

Thanks Richard,
As much as I like to offer this option, I can’t see how it would be technically possible to add the subs at this point. Lets forget for a moment the amount of time it would take to translate it to English – I’m not sure it is even doable using mp4 files and Action Script 3 – which is the way I’m building my DVD titles.
However, let me ask around and see what can be done. I wouldn’t get my hopes too high.
Once again, thanks for your feedback
